Welcome Y’all{Hobby Lobby Find!}

Look at this super cute sign that I picked up at Hobby Lobby not too long ago. It was part of their clearance of the “Spring” line. This was 90% off! I paid only $2.99. Isn’t that crazy?I love clearance sales, don’t you!?

Now, if you walk into Hobby Lobby, there may be some great clearance finds left, but you will now mostly see Autumn and Christmas items on the shelves. Are you ready for that? My hobby Lobby started putting all of that out in June. A bit early for my taste…but hey, now it is the middle of August, so maybe it’s okay! πŸ˜‰

RENPHO Bluetooth Body Fat Scale

Now check this out! I actually wasn’t planning on getting a new scale, but I just bought this one. Why? Because it has so many cool features! πŸ˜€

To be honest, I am not a big fan of weighing myself on a regular basis – for the fact that the number on the scale is just part of the overall picture. There are lots of things to consider, right?

This particular scale has some really cool features. Read more….

About the product:

11 Essential Measurements – 11 KEY body composition analysis
Body Weight, BMI, Body Fat%, Water %, Skeletal Muscle, Fat-free Body Weight, Muscle Mass, Bone Mass, Protein, Basal Metabolism, and Body Age.

Free Friendly App – Download RENPHO app for FREE at App Store/Google Play. RENPHO App works with Bluetooth 4.0, supports Android 4.3 & IOS 7.0 or above system. You can weigh yourself anytime WITHOUT your phone. The data will sync to the app once it is connected again!

Smart App Syncs with Fitness Apps – Over Millions happy global users, RENPHO App syncs with APPLE HEALTH, GOOGLE FIT, and FITBIT APP.

High Quality Product – Auto calibration, high precision sensors measure in increments of 0.2 lb./0.05 kg with 396lbs/180kg capacity. 4 sensitive electrodes, 6mm tempered glass platform, 3 x AAA batteries included. FDA/CE/FCC/ROHS Certificated.

Okay, so I have only had this scale for a couple of days now. Right out of the box, it was easy to get set up. It comes with 3 AAA batteries that are basically starter batteries. It is recommended that you replace them within a couple of months. I however, had to replace them right away as they did not work. That’s not a big deal to me, as those were just some cheap batteries anyway. πŸ˜‰ So I guess I should say, once I got the new batteries in, it was easy to set up.
There is basically nothing to it. I downloaded the free app, connected via bluetooth and was pretty much ready to go.
After you weigh yourself, the data goes immediately to your phone {in the app.} It was really fast, and there I could see all of the stats like my weight, body fat percentage and more. Within the app, you can view a history, set a goal weight and more. {The scale itself shows your weight, but within the app, you see all stats.}
I think that it works great, and I really do like it! πŸ™‚

This scale is only $27.99 at the time of writing this up. I looked at quite a few different scales of the same type and found this to be a great bargain when you consider all that it can do. There are similar scales that can go for $100 or more.

I was in no way paid or compensated in any way to write about/review this scale. I honestly just wanted to share because I like it a lot. The links in the post are my Amazon affiliate links, which do not affect your price if you so choose to purchase the scale. It is just a way for me to make a small percentage, and that goes right back into the running of this blog. πŸ˜‰

The Alphabet Garden

So if you know me, then you know I absolutely love flowers and gardens. Recently, my youngest daughter and I went to Yunker Farm. It is where the Children’s Museum in Fargo is located. We haven’t been in a few years, so we took a little drive over and had a nice time there going through the museum. It was pretty much the same as we remembered it…. but, my favorite part was outside!. The gardens. Especially the Alphabet Garden. Flowers and herbs from A-Z! I was in heaven! πŸ™‚

Here are a few photos. I definitely want to go again soon and take more!

Just click on this pic to view all. πŸ™‚

I definitely didn’t get pics of all of the flowers and plants. There were SO many! Guess we will have to take another drive over to Yunker Farm soon. πŸ˜€
