The Wind Leverager Delta Kite-from Get Childish! {Review}

Look at this super fun kite that I received from Get Childish!

We have lots of windy days here in North Dakota, and flying a kite is a wonderful way to get out there and spend time in the sunshine! ๐Ÿ™‚
Before receiving this kite, we’ve had numerous other kites. They never seemed to fly well, and they never really lasted very long. My girls were super excited when they saw this beautiful Delta Kite in rainbow colors. It is just perfect!

I love that it comes with it’s own bag for carrying around or for storage. That is a must! Read more…. read more

My try at Industrial Strength Bubbles! {pictures}

Have you seen the recipes for those Industrial Strength Bubbles floating around out there? {Get it? Floating..haha!} ๐Ÿ˜‰
I found a recipe on Pinterest and knew that I definitely wanted to give it a try. My girls love blowing bubbles. I do, too. I mean, who doesn’t love bubbles?

This recipe called for 6 cups of water, 1 cup of corn syrup and 2 cups of regular strength Joy dish soap.
I could not find Joy dish soap anywhere, so I bought a different brand. I also realized that I bought ultra dish soap and had to tweak the recipe a bit. I ended up adding more corn syrup to the mix. read more

Yumms! BBQ Grill mats {Review}

Yumms! BBQ Grill Mats {set of 2}

Yumms!

My hubby is the “griller” in our family and it takes a lot to impress him when it comes to grill accessories and such. When I handed these over to him, he was intrigued and really interested in trying them out. We had been talking before about having something on our gas grill, so food wouldn’t fall through and make a huge mess. So these came just in time…the perfect solution!

So do they work?

They work great! Food does not stick to them at all and the food cooks up nicely with these. They heat up pretty fast, too! We love them and now use them every time “we” grill. ๐Ÿ˜‰ read more

More baby bunnies!? Yes!

Last Friday while mowing the lawn, my hubby found some little bunnies in our yard. We had to scoop them up so that he could continue mowing the lawn. Now look at just how cute!!!

Bunnies!

After he was just about done mowing the yard, he found ANOTHER batch of baby bunnies. This batch was even younger. They were really small. I didn’t get pics, but here’s a little video.

So, the older bunnies got carried away to a safer place, and the tiny bunnies are still in the same spot. I told Jason we should let them grow a little before we move them. I want to make sure that they are not completely helpless, and can take care of themselves before we do. I have a deer/rabbit repellent spray that stinks so BAD that I guess I’ll have to use around the whole yard, and not just around my plants. {It really works!} Rabbits are so cute and adorable, but they will have to dig holes in someone else’s yard from now on..LOL! ๐Ÿ˜‰ read more

My sunflowers are finally blooming!

You just don’t even know how very excited I am. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, I absolutely love them. As you may have read in a previous post, I planted them, thinking they were going to be {a lot} smaller. They are dwarf sunflowers, but still pretty big! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am however really excited about having these big beautiful sunflowers in my garden! ๐Ÿ˜€

Here are the 2 that are blooming the fastest. I believe there are 7 in total, but I will have to go count again to be sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

In my yard: sunflowers โค๏ธ

Aren’t they just gorgeous!? read more

Playtime at the park!

Elmwood Park is a really nice park that is near our house, and it’s walking distance! Imagine our surprise the day we went and found something new there. A zipline {for kids, of course!} Well, I guess you would call it a zipline, right? You decide. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Jump and go!

The girls loved this!
