Hidden in My Heart Scripture Memory Bible NLT {Book Review}

Book Info:

Scripture memorization grounds kids in the faith, equips them for the future, and solidifies relationships with Christ, family, and others. The Hidden in My Heart Scripture Memory Bible was created to encourage kids not only to read God’s Word but also to hide it deep within their hearts. One hundred of the Bible’s core verses have been set to music by renowned children’s author and song writer Stephen Elkins. The 100 songs include a variety of genres and are available in the New Living Translation, New International Version, and King James Version, and all songs are free with the purchase of the Bible. Additional interactive features encourage school-age kids to engage with the Word in every place of their life.

Age Range: 6 – 10 years
Grade Level: 1 – 5
Paperback: 1456 pages
Publisher: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.; Pap/Psc edition (September 1, 2016)

I was pretty excited about getting this Bible for my kids. I mean, they do have a Bible already. In fact, there are many Bibles in my home. This one though, seemed like it would be great for memorizing scripture. Bonus: It comes with 100 free songs! My girls love music, so that was definitely a great “selling point”… if you will. 😉

Another thing that I really love with this Bible is that the 100+ core verses to memorize, are in three different translations. I really like that. You can choose the one you like best or the one you think would be easier for your child to understand. It’s really up to you, but I do like having that option.

Overall, this is a great Bible. I mean, it’s a Bible…so yes it IS great…but having a way for kids to memorize scripture is really nice to see in a Bible. We are very happy with it, for sure. It will definitely make memorizing verses easier because they are right there at your fingertips. Core verses that everyone should learn….not just children. 🙂

I received this Bible at no cost to me in exchange for my honest review, however my options are 100% truthful and unbiased.
