The Alphabet Garden

So if you know me, then you know I absolutely love flowers and gardens. Recently, my youngest daughter and I went to Yunker Farm. It is where the Children’s Museum in Fargo is located. We haven’t been in a few years, so we took a little drive over and had a nice time there going through the museum. It was pretty much the same as we remembered it…. but, my favorite part was outside!. The gardens. Especially the Alphabet Garden. Flowers and herbs from A-Z! I was in heaven! πŸ™‚

Here are a few photos. I definitely want to go again soon and take more! read more

Flowers are blooming!

I haven’t had much of a chance to work in the yard due to the weather lately. It’s been pretty dreary, a little cooler and rainy on some days as well. There are flowers blooming though, so that makes me happy.

Here are a few pictures of what is growing now. I definitely need to do more planting soon. read more

Beautiful Sunflowers

My sunflowers have bloomed and look amazing! Well, 3 of the 6 have fully bloomed so far, and the others are on their way. They are so huge! I’ve never grown them before, and am just so excited, LOL! I think next spring I may plant some in the back yard as well. πŸ˜€ Here are a few pictures…

Bible Verse Art {with my photos}

I created these today, and wanted to share with you all. Not too long ago, I was doing one every day, but obviously could not keep! I’ll still create them, just not every single day. These, as all the others, are created with photos that I have taken. Hope you enjoy them. πŸ™‚

A fuzzy buzzy bee…

My flowers in my butterfly island are still blooming, and look so pretty! They have attracted quite a few bumble bees and butterflies as well. The butterflies are sometimes hard to capture, but I did manage to get a couple of pictures of the bees. πŸ™‚

Sunflowers are a favorite of mine! I just love how big, bright & cheery they are. I saw these sunflowers on the side of the road while I was out on a bike ride. Just had to stop and take a couple of pictures & share! πŸ™‚

Low Cost decor

I have to say, I LOVE carnations. I think they are one of the most underrated flowers out there. Why do I like them? Well not only are they beautiful and come in many colors, but they LAST! I’ve had these flowers on my table for over 2 weeks. Aren’t they pretty? I put them in a mason jar instead of a vase and voila! Simple, pretty decor! πŸ˜€
