My Day to Day Life
Today both Jacey & Jadyn had their well-check appointments. Here are the stats on their growth.
Jacey- 3 year check up
She is doing wonderfully!
Height: 3′4 (95th percentile)
Weight:34 lbs (80th percentile)
She got 2 shots, and goes back at age 4.
Jadyn- 4 month checkup
Doing wonderfully as well-and hitting those milestones
Height: 25 3/4 inches tall (95th percentile)
Weight: 16lbs 12oz (95th percentile)
She got 3 shots (poor baby) and hated it! 
She goes back at age 6 months.
Both girls are doing very well, and are healthy-which makes me and their daddy very happy. 
Oh, I have to also say that today Jadyn rolled over from belly to back for the first time. For awhile she has been sooooooooo close, but today she did it-several times!! She is really very close to rolling from back to belly as well. She is so cute…LOL! I got it on video if you want to view it on my video site. Just email me for the link. Here’s just one pic. I am off…I’m about to head over to “Once Upon A Child” and see if they have anything good.

Today both Jacey & Jadyn have doctor appointments. Jacey has her 3 year, and Jadyn has her 4 month. We go at 1:00, and I’m excited to see how much they have grown!
It is Friday! *yay* Other than appointments, I’m not sure what we will be doing today. Tomorrow is the block party celebration at the park nearby. They will be having FREE cotton candy & snow cones, so you know we must go..LOL! The park is really close, so we can walk to it, too. That will make up for the sugar I consume. =P
Well, I am off to suck down my 2nd cup of coffee. I’ll update on the girls’ well check appointments later on.

Well, as of yesterday [July 16, 2008], Jadyn is 4 months old. I can’t believe how fast time is flying by! She is getting so big, and interacting with us more & more every day! Just a few days ago, we gave her, her first taste of baby rice cereal. At first, she gave us that look, like what the heck is this? But then after that first bite, she seemed to like it. 
It was so funny watching her smack it and push it out of her mouth..lol! I have pics on Flickr, if you’re interested (F&F).
So last night I went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things, like milk and coffee mate. I decided to go to Toys R US, which is right next door. I wanted to look at and price exersaucers. I ended up buying Jadyn a Bumbo Play Tray for her bumbo seat, and a new bedding set for her crib. This set is so cute, and was on CLEARANCE for $12.98. I thought to myself that I MUST get it! lol When I went to pay for it, it rang up only $10.00! How cool is that!? It is a really pretty set, too! It will match her room perfectly. I’ll have to post pics of it later. I love finding bargains! 
Well, I will continue my search for the exersaucer I want. Some are just too overpriced for something that you won’t use a very long time…but at the same time, I want a nice one that’s cute, too! lol
We had such a blast! It was lots of fun! We are home now, and as fun as our vacation was, it’s nice to be home.
Our vacation started with our trip to the Bismark/Mandan area. I haven’t been there before, and it was fun to see. We stayed in a hotel with a fun indoor water park. It was really cool, and we also got to eat at the Cracker Barrel. Hee, hee! I haven’t been to one of those since I left Georgia 6 years ago. 
I loved it-those cheesy hashbrowns they have are delicious!
The next day we left to go to Pierre, S.D. Jace’s parents and siblings (& their kids) were camping there at the state park. We didn’t camp, but stayed in a hotel for 2 nights there. We spent our days with the family, grilling out, having fun at the river, and catching up on each others’ lives. It was nice. 
After 2 days there, we left for Sioux Falls. Another area of S.D that I haven’t seen. I liked it there. We stayed in another hotel with a HUGE water park/play area for kids and adults alike. It was fun! They had a huge water slide, a pirates ship play area with multiple slides for the kids, hot tubs, a bigger pool, a game pool & more. It was way cool!
We went around Sioux Falls, and went to this huge park called Falls Park. It was really pretty, with lots of rocks, falls, and lots to do. I’ll post pics on Flickr soon!
Oh yeah! I almost forgot! On our way to Sioux Falls, we stopped at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, S.D. A lot of people from the area say it’s corny (ha ha), but it still is something to see.

We had a fun little vacation touring ND and SD. It was quite the nice getaway!!
