I love deals, and getting things for free (or nearly free!) This is the rundown on this transaction:
The Tone was $3.99 at Walgreens with a $3 register reward (.99). The ponytail holders were $2 with a $2 register reward (free!)
The fruit snacks were just something I saw on clearance and picked them up for $1 a box. (Y)
No bad, huh?
Recently at CVS, I went shopping (don’t have pics), but I bought the things I normally buy–like Garnier skin care, and some other items. I ended up with nearly $20 in extra care bucks (basically money that can be used on a future transaction). Sometimes Walgreens and CVS can be a little bit higher in price than places like Walmart or Target…but when they have a sale and you use your coupons, along with getting money back (extra care bucks), you can really make out good! Don’t forget that in both of these stores (and Target too), you can stack coupons. Stacking is when you use a store coupon (specific to that store) for an item and a manufacturer coupon as well for the same item. I love saving money! 😉
Don’t forget, that at CVS, you will need to sign up for a Extra Care card to get Extra Care bucks back!
