A little Valentine's Day getaway!

My Valentine’s Day was spent with my wonderful hubby {Jace} of 10 1/2 years. 🙂

His parents came for a visit and watched our girls so we could go out and have a Valentine’s date! We had the best time. It had been awhile since we have been out without the kids, so we were SO looking forward to this time together. {Yay! No kids!}

My hubby got us a suite at a hotel not that far from here, and planned a dinner for us at an Italian restaurant called “Speak Easy”. It is a restaurant that is known for its delicious food and great service. It was our first time there, and we really enjoyed it. We got a nice semi-private table, and had a delicious dinner and dessert. 😉

I had the beef lasagna and my hubby had a plate with Italian Sausage lasagna, spaghetti and eggplant chips. We both had salads and bread–along with our appetizer–bruschetta. We were so full, but we decided we really wanted to try the red velvet cheesecake–so we ordered one to share between the two of us. it was DIVINE, I tell you! 😀
