Loose-Leaf Tea – Cold & Flu Blend

Tea Brewing Instructions: Tea Brewing Instructions: Start with cold, fresh water. Preheat tea pot. Cooling of the water results in a weak brew. Use approximately 3 grams of tea leaves for 6 ounces of water. Use .5 ounces of tea leaves per quart. For tea, steep 4 minutes in 200F boiling water.
Why choose loose leaf tea over tea bags?
Whole leaf or loose leaf tea provides the cup with more flavor, health benefits and aroma than commercial tea bags, which are often made up of tiny leaf bits and tea dust which has lost most of its flavor and antioxidants.
Often times, the paper tea bags collapse onto the tea preventing water from infusing every inch of the leaf- flavor is usually extracted after only one steep where as loose leaf tea can be steeped multiple times for several cups of tea.
