My Little Bakers!

I had to post this cute photo of my girls in their cute aprons! I found them on sale at Kohls, plus I had a coupon for 30% off! I had been looking for aprons for my girls, and they were exactly what I was looking for. πŸ™‚
My girls love to bake, and on this day, we were making gingerbread cookies! They had THE BEST time!

Baking is something I love to do. My girls also really enjoy it as well. Just a few pics of the goodies we’ve had recently!

After supper last night I made these yummies for my girls. They were a big hit. Added a little bit of whipped cream, too! πŸ™‚ read more

Yummy [pink!] Valentine Sweets

I made the cupcakes for my girls to frost & decorate (although this one-I did)…and the big cookies–I made them for my little sweethearts! The rest of the cookies were hearts in various sizes and I let the girls frost & decorate those as well. πŸ™‚

Pear and Cherry Buckle

So I was watching Semi-Homemade cooking with Sandra Lee a couple of weeks back, and I saw her make this dessert that you make in a crock pot. It’s called Pear & Cherry buckle. It looked really easy-and oh so delicious! So as we speak, it is in the crock pot. The in-laws are coming for a visit this evening-and this will be our dessert. Check out the link for a photo and the recipe. I’ll let you know how it came out! πŸ™‚

Christmas in the air…

We have done lots of baking and decorating and crafts…and we’re still not done! Jacey just loves doing ANYTHING crafty, and Jadyn loves to participate as well. I think today we will make another batch of cookies. Not sure what kind yet. So far, we have made Christmas Tree cookies for preschool, Festive White Fudge, and colored rice crispy treats. πŸ˜€ We’ve also made homemade Christmas ornaments out of salt-dough. They are always fun to do-and super easy to make!

On Friday the 18th, Jacey has her preschool Christmas program. We are so excited to go! I can hardly wait! I will definitely have camera and flip mino in hand. πŸ˜‰ We will be taking a plate of cookies, homemade of course, which we may do the day before. read more
