I had the opportunity to see in advance the new film”Confessions of a Prodigal Son.”
This movie is about a son who has lost his way, who has endured hardships and troublesome times, but eventually finds his way back to his family and embraces the faith that he ran away from. It stars Kevin Sorbo who is really great in this movie, by the way! He plays the dad, who is a pastor. His son, Shawn plays “The Prodigal Son.” The son that has rebelled, and left home because he wants to live and discover life in his own way.

What Promises Can You Believe?
In The Promises of God, Dr. R. C. Sproul shows how God—the one true Promise Keeper—always keeps His promises. Drawing from his expansive theological background, Dr. Sproul addresses questions such as these:
· How do we know that God will fulfill His promises to us?
· What can we learn about God’s faithfulness as we wait for His promises to be fulfilled?
· What was the agreement God the Father had with Jesus before the beginning of the world?
· What does God’s covenant with Adam mean for us today?
· What common covenant do atheists and other non-Christians participate in with God?
· What does God’s covenant have to do with His forgiveness of our sins today?
· Why did Jesus have to die to complete God’s covenant with us?
Who Will Usher in Earth’s Final Days? Are we living in the end times? Is it possible that the players depicted in the book of Revelation could be out in force today? And if they are, would you know how to recognize them? In Agents of the Apocalypse, noted prophecy expert Dr. David Jeremiah does what no prophecy expert has done before. He explores the book of Revelation through the lens of its major players—the exiled, the martyrs, the elders, the victor, the king, the judge, the 144,000, the witnesses, the false prophet, and the beast. One by one, Dr. Jeremiah delves into their individual personalities and motives, and the role that each plays in biblical prophecy. Then he provides readers with the critical clues and information needed to recognize their presence and power in the world today. The stage is set, and the curtain is about to rise on Earth’s final act. Will you be ready?
I have been of fan of Dr. David Jeremiah for awhile now. I was so excited to be able to read and review his book “Agents of the Apocalypse: A Riveting Look at the Key Players of the End Times.” I love reading about end time prophecy. If you do as well, and love the book of Revelation as I do, then you will enjoy this book!
If God Is Good
The best-selling author of Heaven paints a realistic picture of who God is and what God is doing in the world, encouraging believers to share their faith more clearly and genuinely in a world filled with pain and fear.
Many Christians experience times of doubt and uncertainty. At various times we can ask: Does God love me? Am I really a Christian? – and even Is there a God at all?! This short, readable book unpacks the difference between good and bad doubt, shows us where it comes from and how to deal with it in ourselves and others. It explains clearly and simply the liberating reality of what the Bible tells us about doubt, assurance and the Christian life.
